2.1 Information You Provide

• Profile Information: Delivery address, postal code, and preferred language/currency for Customers; passport photo, selfie, nationality, and payout details for Travelers.
• Payment Information: Payment details processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card number directly — it is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
• Communications: Messages you send to our support team or through the Platform.
• Waitlist Information: Email, city, and country if you join our waitlist.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and actions taken on the Platform.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
• IP Address: Used for security, fraud prevention, and approximate geolocation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify Traveler identities and manage the verification process

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Service Providers

• Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data is stored securely on Supabase servers. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery. Your email address and name are shared to send order confirmations, status updates, and other service communications. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: Hosting and content delivery. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

4.2 Operational Sharing

• Travelers: Travelers receive only the destination city and bag details necessary for transport. They do not receive Customer names, addresses, or package contents.
• Ground Team: Our delivery team receives the delivery address and Customer name to complete last-mile delivery.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wasil, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account and for 3 years after account closure for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years in accordance with financial record-keeping requirements.
• Package Photos: Retained for 1 year after delivery confirmation.
• Traveler Verification Documents: Retained for the duration of the Traveler's active account plus 2 years.
• Waitlist Data: Retained until the service launches in your city or until you request removal.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Row-level security policies on our database
• Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
• PCI-DSS compliant payment processing via Stripe
• Regular security reviews and access controls

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
