Wasil connects you to products from Saudi Arabia through a unique logistics network. You shop from Saudi sellers (or use our Buy-For-Me service), and your packages are received at our warehouses in Madinah or Jeddah. We photograph, weigh, and securely store them. When a verified traveler heading to your city is available, we consolidate your packages into tamper-evident sealed bags. The traveler carries them to your destination, where our ground team handles last-mile delivery to your door.
You can order most non-prohibited items from Saudi Arabia, including Ajwa and Medjool dates, oud and bakhoor, Islamic fashion, prayer accessories, Saudi coffee, Arabian sweets, gifts, souvenirs, and more. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, weapons, illegal substances, live animals, and items banned by either Saudi export laws or your destination country's import regulations. Delivery timelines depend on traveler availability for your route. Typically, packages are delivered within 1-3 weeks from the time you pay for shipping. During peak Hajj and Umrah seasons, delivery is often faster due to higher traveler availability. You'll receive tracking updates throughout the process, from warehouse receipt to final delivery.
Absolutely. Every package is photographed and weighed when received at our warehouse. Packages are consolidated into tamper-evident sealed bags — travelers cannot access the contents. Our ground team verifies the seal integrity at the destination before last-mile delivery. You get full tracking visibility from warehouse to your door, and all payments are secured through Stripe.
Shipping is priced per kilogram based on your destination city. Current rates are $12/kg to New York and $14/kg to London. There are no hidden fees — you see the exact total (based on the actual weight of your packages) before confirming payment. You can pay from your Wasil Wallet or directly via Stripe.
Buy-For-Me is our personal shopping service. If you find a product from a Saudi store but can't purchase it yourself (due to payment restrictions, language barriers, or convenience), our team will buy it on your behalf. We charge a 20% service fee on top of the product cost. Once purchased, the item is received at our warehouse and handled like any other package.
Sign up at usewasil.com/register/traveler and complete the verification process, which includes uploading a selfie and passport photo. Once verified, you can add your upcoming trips from Saudi Arabia, browse available sealed bags heading to your destination, and bid to carry them. You earn money for each successful delivery — paid after the customer confirms receipt.
We take package safety very seriously, but if something goes wrong, we've got you covered. File a claim within 7 days of the expected delivery date by contacting support@usewasil.com. Our team will investigate and, depending on the circumstances, issue a full or partial refund to your Wasil Wallet. Our tamper-evident bags and photo documentation at every stage help resolve claims quickly.
